big-12-championshipFive of us, four reporters and a photographer, drove down to cover the men’s and women’s Big 12 Championships. Five days later we had posted 35-plus stories. Another reporter and I covered the ISU men’s team. The Cyclones were eliminated after their first game, but we stayed to cover the remainder of the tournament. It was a lot of extra work,  but it was a great opportunity to get experience covering big games. We did short stories on many of the first round games, but ended up writing full-length recaps for many of the games. The two of us also were in charge of editing the stories from the women’s tournament and posting and managing the Web site. Below is a link to Championship Central, where we aggregated all our posts, plus links to the stories I wrote.
